Walking Among the Giants

It is a bit of a secret that West Virginia is home to one of the major astronomical observation sites in the world...at least as far as Radio Astronomy is concerned. There is a rich history of discovery and technological breakthroughs that happen right here in Green Bank. It was nice rolling along the 2 mile Scopes Road reading about the history of the different dishes here. I could go on from here with tidbits about the different scopes, but the GREEN BANK OBSERVATORY website does a more thorough job, so click and learn.
